Watch This Sled Dog Say “Blah, Blah, Blah” Like A Human

Seriously LOLing.

These dogs were filmed in Sweden by a Spotify employee, and they basically sum up everything you've ever felt in a meeting:

Although maybe they're actually just lawyers in training.

This Is Why Cameron In “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” Needed A Big Hug

One of the best scenes in the classic Ferris Bueller's Day Off takes place at the Chicago Art Institute

According to the film's commentary from it's late director, John Hughes, the museum scene was “self indulgent” and his chance to show off the works of art that had meant so much to him and a place that he spent a lot of time in as a youth.

Paramount Pictures

The scene, which is without dialogue, at one point showcases the glum Cameron Frye, as he stares at Georges Seurat's A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte.

5 Cheap And Delicious Dinners To Make This Week

Each recipe serves two hungry people with too much self-respect to survive on ramen and Easy Mac.

Graphic by Chris Ritter / Photos by Macey Foronda

Your safest bet is to make them all within a week of grocery shopping to ensure that the ingredients stay fresh. It's not the biggest deal if you do it over the course of 10 days or so, but know that your cilantro probably won't last that long (although if you store it with the stems in water like flowers but in the fridge, it might). Keep your meat in the freezer whether you cook this over a week or 10 days, but put it in the fridge 2 days before you plan to use it.

Also, though the recipes call for lots of the same ingredients, no recipe calls for leftovers from another one of the recipes. So, you can cook them in any order.

Here is everything you'll need to cook these five dinners:

The Greatest Living Animation Director Explains Why He’s Retiring

In a rare interview, Hayao Miyazaki talks about why his latest movie The Wind Rises — which is opening with an English-language version in the U.S. this weekend — is also his last.

Ken Ishii / Getty Images; Studio Ghibli

When The Simpsons paid tribute to animation legend Hayao Miyazaki in January, the video quickly went viral, becoming the third most viewed Simpsons clip on YouTube ever, with nearly 10 million views.

Miyazaki, however, was not one of them.

“Unfortunately, I haven't seen that,” the 73-year-old filmmaker told BuzzFeed earlier this month, in a video call conducted with a Japanese translator. “Actually, I don't watch that much TV,” he added with a laugh. “I don't know how to use the internet, as well. Someone gave me an electronic dictionary, and I'm just trying to find out how to use it right now.”

Anyone familiar with Miyazaki's astonishing body of work will recognize in that answer one of the central themes of his films: the tension between a simpler way of life — where one looks up words in old fashioned dictionaries — and the relentless drive of technological progress. That theme is malevolently present in Miyazaki's medieval fantasy Princess Mononoke, the first of his films that most Americans saw in a movie theater when it opened in a limited release in 1999. That theme is woven into the fanciful world of Spirited Away, which won an Academy Award in 2002 for Best Animated Feature Film, and is the highest grossing film of all time in Japan. And that theme is even front and center in one of Miyazaki's earliest features, 1984's NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind, an adaptation of one of his popular manga comic books.

The Wind Rises.

Walt Disney Pictures & Studio Ghibli

It is a theme that is most heartbreakingly present in Miyazaki's latest feature animated film, The Wind Rises — which, he announced last fall, is also his last. A historical epic based largely on the life of Jiro Horikoshi, the aeronautical engineering genius behind Japan's deadly Zero fighter plane in World War II, the film's elegiac tone certainly makes for a fitting culmination to Miyazaki's 50-year career. (The film, nominated for an Academy Award for Best Feature Animated Film, opens in the U.S. today in limited release, with an English-language dub featuring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Martin Short, Stanley Tucci, Mae Whitman, and Mandy Patinkin.) It wasn't until Miyazaki had completed the film, however, that he says he realized he would retire from feature filmmaking.

“I really felt that this was the maximum that I could give to produce an animated film,” he said. “The work of animation is building up bricks and mortar, bricks and mortar. I felt I wouldn't be able to put [up] another brick.”

Miyazaki has announced his retirement before, only to return to his animation company Studio Ghibli to make another feature (or three). But this time, his resolve feels permanent. And with so much of today's feature animation created using the cutting-edge perfection of computers, it's impossible not to wonder who, if anyone, will take pencil to paper to create animated films with as much bewitching — and popular — imagination. Ironically, it's exactly Miyazaki's singular devotion to his craft that has led him to leave it behind.

23 Delicious Pork Shoulder Recipes To Feed A Crowd

Kindle

It’s cheap, it’s tender, and it’s so much easier to cook than you think. Basically, it’s just a matter of setting your oven really low and having the strength to walk away.

There are actually two different cuts that get called pork shoulder: “Boston butt” and “picnic shoulder.”

If you can, stick to the “Boston butt” cut. It's more common in supermarkets, and it's what most recipes call for.

If you can, stick to the "Boston butt" cut. It's more common in supermarkets, and it's what most recipes call for.

Boston butt — also called Boston shoulder — is a fairly inexpensive piece of meat that comes from the top of the pig's shoulder. It has lots of juicy, marbled fat, which keeps it tender during cooking. Often, it is sold without the bone (bone-out), which makes it easier to cut and serve, but some people opt for bone-in Boston butt, since the bone adds flavor. Usually, a recipe will indicate whether the cut should be bone-in or bone-out.

BUT, if you can only find a “picnic shoulder,” feel free to substitute.

BUT, if you can only find a "picnic shoulder," feel free to substitute.

The picnic shoulder cut has less fat and more connective tissue than the Boston butt, meaning it needs long time to make it tender. Most pork shoulder recipes have long cooking times anyway, though, so using a picnic shoulder is fine. The major difference is that picnic shoulders have a huge bone down the middle; it adds flavor, but you'll have to cut around it to serve.

Woman Confronts Former Teacher About Alleged Sexual Abuse, Uploads Entire Conversation To YouTube

Kindle

The teacher — now an assistant principal — has since resigned from California’s Alhambra High School.

On Friday, YouTube user Jamie X uploaded a video of her calling a former teacher, whom she said sexually abused her from age 12 to 20.

“I am 28 years old and have been waiting years to get up enough courage to report a teacher for sexually abusing me for years,” Jamie wrote in the video description. “When I finally got up enough courage to report her, I found out that the statute of limitations was up and she will never have to pay for the things that she did to me.”

The call between Jamie and Andrea Cardosa begins about two minutes into the video:

Jamie: Is this Ms. Cardosa?

Cardosa: Yes.

Jamie: The Ms. Cardosa that used to work in Moreno Valley?

Cardosa: Well, it depends on what part of Moreno Valley. What, you know, yes.

Jamie: Is it Val Verde school district?

Cardosa: Yes.

Jamie: Used to work at Chemawa?

Cardosa: In Riverside, yes.

Jamie: OK. This is Jamie. You’re an assistant principal, huh?

Cardosa: Yes.

Jamie: So what happens when a student comes in and says that they're having a sexual relationship with a teacher?

Cardosa: Then I would involve law enforcement.

Jamie: So how is that any different from what you did when I was at Chemawa Middle?

Cardosa: It's not.

Jamie: So why are you excluded from the law? Why did you do that? I was only 12 years old when I met you. You realize you brainwashed me and you manipulated me? And that what you did was wrong?

Cardosa: Yes. And I regret it.

Jamie: You know that I am completely messed up? That I have so many issues because of you?

Cardosa: I only — I just wanted to help you.

Jamie: How is having a sexual relationship with a 12-year-old student helping?

Cardosa: That wasn't anything that I intended. I don't even know what happened.

Jamie: It's completely shocking to me that you are an assistant principal. Are you doing this with other students too?

Cardosa: No.

Jamie: Is that how you help them?

Cardosa: No. Not at all.

Jamie: You ruined my life. You ruined my childhood. You realize that?

Cardosa: No. No.

Jamie: You sicken me. You sicken me. Every day when I think about what you did you sicken me. I have kids of my own and I'm the age now that I pretty much met you at, and I could never think about doing the things that you did. You should be so ashamed and so disgusted with yourself.

Cardosa: I am. I am.

Jamie: How fucking dare you.

Cardosa: I regret it every day. Every day.

Jamie: You're disgusting. Bye.

Jamie, later identified as Jamie Carrillo, told KTLA she posted the video to let parents know about the assistant principal's predatory past.

Cardosa has since resigned, and according to a letter sent out by her school district, she is under investigation by Alhambra Police.
