J.K. Rowling Admits That Harry And Hermione Should Have Ended Up Together
“I can hear the rage and fury it might cause some fans, but if I’m absolutely honest, distance has given me perspective on that,” she told the Sunday Times .

In a new interview, Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling admitted she thought Harry and Hermione would have made a better couple than the heroine and Ron.
“I wrote the Hermione/Ron relationship as a form of wish fulfillment,” she said in an interview conducted by Emma Watson in the Sunday Times . “That’s how it was conceived, really. For reasons that have very little to do with literature and far more to do with me clinging to the plot as I first imagined it, Hermione ended up with Ron.”
Rowling said she knew her change of heart might upset her die-hard fan base.
“I know, I'm sorry, I can hear the rage and fury it might cause some fans, but if I'm absolutely honest, distance has given me perspective on that. It was a choice I made for very personal reasons, not for reasons of credibility,” she said.
The author and the actress agreed that Harry and Hermione “were a better match,” with Watson mentioning that fans had questioned the original pairing.
“I think there are fans out there who know that too and who wonder whether Ron would have really been able to make her happy,” Watson said.

In last night’s episode of Good Luck Charlie , Disney revealed that Taylor has two moms.
Last June, Disney announced that it would feature its first openly gay characters ever on the channel on an episode of Good Luck Charlie.

This Tumblr User Shows Her Horrific Anonymous Messages In A Powerful Art Project
Lindsay Bottos epitomizes how terribly women can be treated on the internet through a photography project that went viral on Tumblr.
This is Lindsay Bottos, a 21-year-old Baltimore-based artist and a senior at the Maryland Institute College Of Art.

Bottos, a photography major and gender studies minor, runs a Tumblr page where she often uploads selfies as well as pictures of her work.
Since starting the Tumblr in 2010, she has received hundreds of cruel anonymous messages. Last week, she turned the words of hate into a feminist art project; Bottos screencapped some of the messages and posted them over pictures of herself.
The Tumblr post, called “Anonymous,” is a work in progress, she told BuzzFeed. But it nonetheless quickly went viral, garnering over 85,000 notes and drawing in about 20,000 new followers.

Some new stuff I’m working on, I get tons of anonymous messages like this every day and while this isn't unique to women, the content of the messages and the frequency in which I get them are definitely related to my gender. This Man Keeps Getting Arrested Because He’s Addicted To Drinking Petrol
Brian Taylor of Brotton, North Yorks, has once again breached an Asbo that bans him going near petrol stations.

Over the years his addiction has seen him terrorise staff and customers after cutting fuel pipes, sniffing or drinking petrol and dancing around while high on the fumes.
When he was first convicted it emerged that Taylor had tried to attend meetings to fix his problem, but smelled so strongly of petrol that he was deemed a fire hazard and told to leave.
