Australia’s money may be colourful, but it’s still boring as hell. One artist has set out to change that.
It is an offence under the Crimes (Currency) Act 1981 to intentionally deface, disfigure, mutilate or destroy Australian banknotes
But that didn't stop this guy.
Artist bunchof5s has been 're-facing' five dollar notes since 2011.
Over those three years he's given Queen Elizabeth 71 new faces.
And re-invented Australia's currency multiple times.
