For those of you who have never been, Waffle House is a restaurant chain with over 1700 locations in the U.S. According to their website, Waffle House has served over 877,388,027 waffles. Which means, they serve around 145 waffles PER MINUTE. SAYWHA.

A Schoolboy Gained 25,000 Twitter Followers By Posing As A Football Journalist

He tricked the Twitterati from his own living room. Via the Financial Times .
Over the last 18 months, @SamuelRhodes_ tweeted breaking football news, like this, to 25,000 followers.
Describing himself in his Twitter bio as a “freelance writer” for the Daily Telegraph and the Financial Times, he communicated with professional footballers and news reporters.
However, @SamuelRhodes_ was not a real journalist.
The Twitter account was being run by Sam Gardiner, a 16-year-old schoolboy from North London, and its photograph was a stock image.
By tweeting teasers, opinions, and news sourced from existing papers, he managed to convince industry professionals that he was in the know.
At one point, he exchanged private messages with James McArthur, a footballer with Wigan Athletic.
This allowed him to get in touch with other Wigan players to discuss transfer rumours.
In January, he tweeted that Mohamed Salah was finalising a £9m move to Liverpool. This claim was picked by by Al Jazeera.
In an interview with the Financial Times , Sam claimed that he did not intend to make money, but simply wanted to be taken seriously.
“[Spreading rumours] was the only way to get big,” he told told the FT “Everyone has opinions, not everyone has access to the transfer market.”
Sam's Twitter account has now been suspended.

To commemorate the anniversary, the band's surviving members reunited at the Grammy Awards.
This song – which is damn good – is from McCartney’s latest album, New. This is the first time Ringo and McCartney have performed together since 2009. (No, Ringo didn't play on the studio version.)

Disney’s retelling of Sleeping Beauty from the perspective of the villain now has an anthem of its own: As promised, Lana Del Rey's cover of “Once Upon a Dream” showed up in a trailer for Maleficent during the Grammys. The song, which has naturally already leaked on Tumblr, will be available for purchase after the ceremony.

Madonna brought her son David, in matching Ralph Lauren suits he picked out, to The Grammys tonight and while she couldn’t talk about her rumored performance with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, she did tell Ryan Seacrest “I feel like history is being made tonight.”
Madge also reinforced the fact she “wouldn't do any old song by any old artist.”
